The new Hope Cove lifeboat has been out on its trials and crew training runs. It looks fab and it should not be too long til it is on service. The good weather has enabled lots of training time and opportunities for a good old blast!! We hope it will not have to be called out very much this season but what a peace of mind it gives knowing it is there waiting incase it is needed!
We have been very busy working on our website recently and you will see many new additions. The one I am most pleased with is our webcam which proudly sits overlooking the slipway in Inner Hope Cove. Not only is it great to watch and pass the time but you can also see the Hope Cove Lifeboat being launched and recovered......very exciting!!

We have had rain forecast for today but the sun is still shining......the weathermen always get it wrong. Hope Cove does seem to have that special micro climate......and now the webcam can prove it!!
We have however had a lot of wind today but we do not mind that because it gives us a chance to spot all the seals that have come into the bay to shelter from the rough seas!!
We are always interacting with people on Facebook and Twitter but for those who are not into the whole social media thing we have started this blog which I hope you will enjoy reading!!
